The NLBA is pleased to provide coaches with the resources to help them improve. Whether you are a beginning coach or a more seasoned one, these resources will prove to be useful. Links to our curriculum, manuals, videos and Gameplan resources, means you and your team can be prepared for any competition. Our skill and concept library will be constantly updated to provide new drills and ideas for coaches to use in their practices to help improve their players and teams.

Get your NCCP number and take the mandatory courses under multisport: NCCP Safe Sport, NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two and NCCP Making Headway

 Faith Based Items and Spiritual Artifacts

Canada Basketball / Canadian Basketball Officials Commission (CBOC) have updated its guidelines on wearing faith-based items and spiritual artifacts. Our NLBOC officials will follow these guidelines.  Please ensure you have reviewed it before your games.


These guidelines affirm Canada Basketball’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and religious freedom, while providing referees, coaches, and players with a clear framework for managing faith-based items in games.
