NLBOC Referee Excellence Pathway (R.E.P.)
What is the Referee Excellence Pathway?
The NLBOC R.E.P. program is a high-performance development program designed for officials to elevate their officiating careers to the highest levels. This is a multi-year program that provides a structured nationally aligned pathway towards achieving your NOCP level 3 and level 4, preparation for summer national assignments, and progression towards USPORTS level officiating.
This program will include advanced on-court and off-court instruction by some the top officials in the province and across the country. There will be personalized development plans and performance feedback provided throughout the process. As a member of the NLBOC REP program, you will have the opportunity to participate in high-level games to enhance your development as an official.
Who is the Referee Excellence Pathway for?
To be eligible for participation in the NLBOC REP program, you have to be at least 16 years old with a minimum of 1 year officiating experience. But most importantly, you have to have a strong interest in high-performance officiating and the willingness to do the work to achieve your goals.
What will it cost me to participate?
The cost of the NLBOC REP program is $200 per year. Your local associations may be able to assist you with funding, and there will be opportunities to recover the enrollment fee through game fees.
How do I apply?
To apply simply click the link below to the google form and fill it out. Be sure to include any relevant officiating experience you have ( Camps, tournaments, etc.) and a brief statement of your interest and goals for this program.
